I don't have nearly as many pictures of this one as I should or as I would like to have, but this project is no less extensive than any of the others. We figured it up once and found that the only bolts/screws that have NOT been removed and replaced in the last year or two are the rear end U-bolts. This project started about 15 years ago, before I was young enough to even remember it. It got put into mothballs, and just recently got dug back out. Most of the body work had already been started, but we're going to redo most of it anyway.

The car we are using to restore was a 6 cylinder car, so we took a V8 car (which used to be for sale on the front lot, but no one bought it. YOU missed out! heh heh) and sent the engine for rebuild and did a full suspension swap, as well as swiped things like door hinges and whatever we needed that was available. I'll not go into too much detail as it's pretty straightforward restoration, we're just buying new parts, fixing and painting old parts, and reassembling the whole car. Basically, we've gotten it running and driving, exhaust installed, seats recovered, interior paint is done, all body panels are aligned, and all the body paint has been jambed, meaning we painted all the parts that are hard or impossible to paint when the car is together before we put the parts on. This is pretty much the end result, and Project Mustang just needs a paint job and a couple of hours on the interior, and it'll be finished!

More pictures to come!
